The area:
Walk or ride your bike to Royal Roads University (2.5 kms), or catch a bus for free with your U-Pass (if you’re a post-secondary student), along a major bus route. However, there is plenty of parking available if you wish to bring your own vehicle AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.
Goldstream Town Market Square is half a block away, which offers grocery stores, post office, Laundromat, yoga studios (2), a gym, coffee shops, plenty of diverse restaurants and pubs. There are plenty of outdoor recreational activities to partake in with the mild climate and, being located in the heart of Langford, you’ll find plenty of hiking and biking trails, 3 lakes, Goldstream Provincial Park, and Galloping Goose Trail.

The Accommodations:
A bright, sunny, fully furnished bachelor suite in a newer townhouse. Suite is located on the main level, in a walk-out basement with patio doors leading out to your own fenced, private, outdoor area, complete with a raised garden for your use, and patio furniture. You will have your own full private bathroom, and a private, separate kitchenette is adjacent to the suite. Note: There is no full stove/oven, but rather a two burner hot plate, a counter convection oven, (capable of baking a 12" pizza), a microwave, a George Forman Grill, an electric skillet, and a large crock pot. There is a BBQ upstairs on the deck and full oven upstairs as well that you are free to use as the upstairs tenants are very easy-going. The suite is fully furnished with dishes, cooking apparatuses, coffee maker, bedding, towels, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV, computer desk & chair, etc. The only thing to bring is your own computer/laptop and personal belongings.
Utilities except Hydro are included (garbage, recycling, water, and unlimited wi-fi,). The hydro is split between 4 people, and averages $15-30 per month, per person, depending on weather and hot water usage. There is plenty of storage within the suite, with a wardrobe, under the stairs storage, a closet just outside the room entrance and you’ll have access to shared storage in the attached garage as well. The bed is a daybed, sized twin mattress, with large storage drawer underneath.
Other Tenants:
Upstairs you will find three university post secondary students, all in their mid 20's. One is a male attending Camosun College, and the other two are females attending Royal Roads University. You will have your own ample, quiet, relaxing space, if you are a solitary person, but the tenants upstairs are all easy-going and friendly, if you are interested in making friends, and partaking in activities together. When they’re not studying, they enjoy pot luck dinners together, exercising, yoga, and outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, fishing, and camping. They also enjoy having a few drinks in a local pub or at home with a couple of friends, but absolutely no parties are allowed. This is a new home in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood, so no large, loud gatherings are allowed. The home is also furnished with newer, good quality furniture, so looking for tenants who are respectful and CLEAN. This suite is only suitable for one person. No pets, and no smoking or drug use on the premises.
